Season 2

Having been caught out by wife Miriam, cricket-mad Roger Dervish returns and begins trying to carve a new innings on the domestic front - licking his team into shape in the process.

Roger doesn't want everyone gossiping about his affair, to save Mim's blushes. This proves a hard task for the team.

Mim is laid up in bed. How will Roger cope without her culinary skills?

Events take a sombre course when Fred is sent back by his captain whilst attempting a second run.

Roger has some trouble with his sausages.

Some members of the team seek to overthrow Roger following a poor declaration decision that costs them a win on a wet matchday.

The day of the EGM arrives. Roger's leadership goes to the vote, and things look in the balance until a knowledgable old gentleman arrives with some new information. Dennis shows off his new purchase, a (nearly-new) car. But when he pours water on his wife's plans to move house, she looks for revenge.

The team gather to watch the first public showing of the film of their tour of Corfu.
