While waiting to finalize their divorce, Chen Miaoru and Ren Xiaoguo look back on their life together and begin to have second thoughts.

As Miaoru reflects on their hasty wedding, Xiaoguo finds a mysterious computer screen in the bathroom that replays scenes from their relationship.

When the computer offers Xiaoguo a chance to alter the past, he jumps back in time to the day he and Miaoru met their dog, Lulu.

Xiaoguo tries his best to get along with Lulu and shield the dog from his scheming boss. A meeting with the lovely Ms. Qi leaves Xiaoguo disoriented.
