Wally misses his gambling, when Lil decides to intercept his pay packet. Benny comes up with a scheme to get Wally back into the bookies

Jimmy is still with the Briggs and his attempt at doing his homework is not helped when Benny and Wally get involved!

Wally is not normally the jealous type but when Lil announces she has taken up old-time dancing and is going away with her handsome dance partner, his suspicions are aroused.

Wally and Benny are frittering away money at the greyhound track but, after finally getting a big win on a dog called 'Blackjack', Wally is offered a chance to buy the dog ... an offer he seems unable to refuse!

Lil is unhappy with their uncomfortable bed and wants a new one but Wally is perfectly happy with it. Benny, ever the opportunist, takes them to his friends furniture warehouse in order to see the beds on show ...

Phyllis, a glamorous friend of Molly's wants Wally to do some odd jobs around her flat. Benny suggests that she invite Wally to her flat, without mentioning the work. Wally is delighted at the invitation, blissfully unaware at what lies ahead.

Lil is fed up with Benny living with them so when she hears that Carole, one of his ex-girlfriends, has divorced, she encourages him to take up with her again. After all Carole is wealthy and she can afford him more than they can!

Lil wants to take out a life insurance policy on Wally but he's having nothing to do with it - so Lil decides to take out the policy in secret. Naturally, Benny knows a friend who can do it while earning himself some commission at the same time.

When Lil's nephew Jimmy arrives on a stop over before his fishing trip, Wally accidentally creates chaos ...

As if they hadn't had enough of his company, Benny persuades Wally and Lil to go on a package holiday to Spain!
