When summer ends, Casper and Emma are sad to learn that they're not allowed to bring their stuffed animal friends to school.

Emma sticks up for her friend and tells their teacher when a classmate says that Casper is strange.

When the library bus pays a visit to the school, Emma and Casper are the first ones on board and choose books about animals and space.

The teacher's friend shows Casper and Emma's class how to dance, then gives them CDs of the music so they can dance at home.

Bassa joins Casper and Emma for their play date in the garden. But what are the friends to do when Bassa leaps over the fence and runs away?

Emma's mother has to leave while Casper is sleeping over, so her grandpa takes over and takes the friends on a fishing trip.

After all the students are safely gathered outside during a fire drill, the fire chief tells them what to do in case of a real emergency.

When Casper and Emma realize that they both need costumes for the next day's big carnival, they put their imaginations to work.

Casper really wants a bicycle, especially when he discovers that he and Emma are the only kids in their neighborhood without them.
