A young reporter named Alex Briggs sets out to confront a local pastor, Willie Cooper, against her boss's wishes. She believes Cooper takes advantage of his congregants' belief in the rapture for monetary gain. Will she succeed in exposing Cooper or will she put her career on the line for nothing?
